During the development of my titles for the NES console, I found that the available graphic
creation tools that were available did not match what I needed at the time, so I created
a tool called the NES Tileset Editor (see figure 2.7). It is written in .NET but currently
only targets the Windows platform. I am working on an upgraded version that
will use the new MAUI cross-platform targeting capabilities of .NET.
