This curious cabinet arrived in the arcade along with its partner (Wailee Vertical) when I placed a low bid on a local auction.

There were three chassis between the two cabs; the one that was in the Horizontal orientation cab was mounted inside but not plugged in. I hooked up all the connections, and then after a bit of a wait, got a faded picture displayed on the tube.
I thought I would start with that one, and replaced most of the capacitors (I was short a couple at the time), and then hooked it up again.

There was an immediate improvement, as the cabs had been sitting in storage for quite a while, so I left the cab turned on during the day for three consecutive days. This resulted in a fairly decent picture.
All the controls work; you can credit up, inside the coin door at the front. Also located in the front is a volume pot, and the game produced quite decent sound with very little volume applied. About the only thing not working is the fluorescent tube in the marquee. I will probably replace that with an LCD (wired to 12V).
The controls are all leaf switch ones, which I don’t mind so far.
Note: I call this cab the horizontal one, but it is fairly easy to rotate the monitor in both of them.
